Boas uses the non-symmetrical normalization in the Fourier transform. In these problems follow her usage defined in chapter 7 section 12.
Chapter 7:
Section 12: problem 9, 21, 22.
Section 13: problem 4 (all parts), 18
Rewrite the formula for the discrete Fourier Transform that we derived in class, so that the frequencies run from -Nyquist to +Nyquist with DC in the middle. This is simply a matter of shifting indices.
