I will go through section 3.5 on The Probability Current.

On Wednesday we will describe a number of scattering and bound-state problems. Try to set up, on your own, the solution of the Schrodinger for a square well potential. I.e., V(x) = 0 \hbox{  for  }
x < 0 \hbox{ and   } x> a \ . And V(x) = -V_0 \hbox{ for  } 0 \leq x \leq a . Treat a plane wave incident from the left with an energy E.
